Unit 1 – Principles of Science will cover content from A levels in all three science subjects. You will study four Units throughout this course. This course is equivalent in size and UCAS points tariff as one A level. The course therefore has an equal weighting between examined elements and the writing of scientific reports as coursework. The applied approach means that you will study how to carry out complex scientific procedures and write detailed reports, in addition to learning theoretical scientific knowledge. Applied Science is the study of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and how these subjects are applied to industry, healthcare and engineering sectors.
